Hybrid Animals

This picture is my project about making hybrid animals. I chose many different animals and creatures due to the fact that I somehow connect to them, The cat hybrid is a mix between Nicolas Cage and a cat. I call it Cagen Cat. The Dog and chicken hybrid is called chog. Up on the mantle of the fireplace is a cross between Fred Fredburger and Darth Vader. Fred Fredburger is one of my favorite characters ever. I call it Fred FredVader. I also like Star Wars too. The Dorito hybrid is a cross between a dorito and Nicolas Cage. I call it a Nicorito. The fireplace is a great background and serves as the natural habitat for the animals. The way I  made the atmosphere feel like they were actually there was through the burn tool and dodge tool. The fireplace also made the room feel war. I chose to make every animal like it was from the olden days because most of the faces like nicolas cage were different colors.

Alternate World

This picture is a alternate world. The base picture is the Thanksgiving table. I added a bunch of different pictures that stand out and some that don't. The obvious pictures are like the Death Star, Godzilla fight with Ghidorah. The evil moon from Zelda that crashes into the earth. The birds in the sky are not part of the picture as is the genie from Aladdin (bottom right). Dumbledore is standing far back and to the right. The Mayflower is also not part of the scene. I tried to make it fit in as well with all of the other pictures. The Death Star is shooting at a turkey. That turkey is also not part of the original scene.All of these pictures do have shading involved and lighting from top left. I lightened up the ground around the kids and darkened their shadows. The birds have shadows as well. One of the shadows is on the guys back to the left. Symbolism was used with the Death Star, Godzilla and Ghidorah, and the moon from Zelda because I like all of those movies/games. They all needed a place at the first Thanksgiving.

Kaleidoscope 5

This kaleidoscope was made with the picture from a Chantix commercial. I chose this picture because it was funny. It turned out well and the benches create a spiral staircase like when you look down a staircase.

Kaleidoscope 4

This kaleidoscope was a basic tunnel. It's made with a diamond picture. I chose to use this picture because I liked the fact that it had a sparkle and it makes the picture brighter.

Kaleidoscope 3

I chose to make this kaleidoscope with paint then liquify the colors to give it a wave blend. I like how the colors made pictures. I'm not pleased with the center and the corners are not exactly aligned.

Kaleidoscope 2

This kaleidoscope also created the same picture but I added another kaleidoscope in the corners and center to take some blank space up and give the picture more color.

This kaleidoscope was made with a orb type picture and magnified until it wouldn't fit anymore.  The symmetry created the orb again. I had problems with the lines that reach from the corners. 

15 Green Things

I centered around a sort of plot and work around that idea. It was easier to make and come up with different ideas with the different pictures because I knew what I wanted to make, alien mercenaries. I came up with creative ideas from any part of the picture including mold from the arch.

Snow Leopard

I chose this picture of the mac snow leopard because I wanted to learn how to make hair. It didn't come out he way I wanted it to and was taking to long to do the whole picture so I chose the head.
